FOYA Machinery is proud to announce the successful delivery of a major order of tractor mounted silage harvesters to East Africa. The shipment, which included 30 units of our best-selling 1.6m working width silage harvesters, was destined for Kenya's Rift Valley region — the country's agricultural heartland.
🌍 Impact on Local Farming
The Rift Valley region is known for its large dairy farms and livestock operations. With over 200,000 smallholder dairy farmers in Kenya alone, the demand for efficient forage harvesting equipment has never been higher. Our silage harvesters will enable these farmers to process corn silage, alfalfa, and grass more efficiently, reducing labor costs and improving feed quality.
🤝 Partnership with Local Distributor
This shipment was made possible through our partnership with East African Agricultural Solutions Ltd., our authorized distributor in Kenya. They will provide local technical support, spare parts, and training to all customers. 📈 Growing Demand
The African agricultural machinery market is growing rapidly as farmers seek to modernize their operations. Silage production is particularly important in East Africa where dairy farming is a key economic activity. Our silage harvester's tractor-mounted design makes it affordable for small and medium farms that already own tractors.
🔮 Future Plans
FOYA plans to expand its presence in Africa through more distributor partnerships and participation in agricultural exhibitions. We are also developing smaller, more affordable models specifically designed for the African market.
